Hajj, 'Umrah & the Islamic Calendar

The largest annual pilgrimage in the world, and the fifth pillar of Islam, Hajj is a religious duty that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime by every able-bodied Muslim who can afford to do so.

DHU'L-HIJJAH 1445H (2024CE): According to the decision of the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia, the 1st of Dhu'l-Hijjah 1445 was Friday 7 June 2024 and therefore Eid ul-Adha will be on Sunday 16 June 2024. May Allah accept the pilgrimage of the pilgrims, may He forgive their sins and may He replace their expenditure.
